Thank you to all authors and participants for contributing to the CONVERSATIONS 2025 symposium on chatbots and human-centred AI, November 12-13, at TH Lübeck, Germany.
We had >30 papers presented, in plenary and poster sessions, in addition to groupwork, a engaging keynote, and lots of opportunities for discussion and networking.
The symposium
From this year, CONVERSATIONS is presented as a symposium. This is a change we have done to acknowledge the ever increasing quality in papers and presentations to the event, as well as the engagement in sharing and discussions.
The papers presented at the symposium were carefully selected from >60 submissions, through a peer review process involving the organizers and more than 50 reviewers in the program committee.
We are grateful for all the effort put into the symposium by authors and reviewers, who made the event a rewarding and engaging experience.
Publication process
Accepted full and short papers are published in the Springer LNCS proceedings (post-event)
Accepted position papers and project presentations are openly available at the symposium website.

Symposium host
CONVERSATIONS 2025 is hosted by TH Lübeck – University of Applied Sciences. The symposium is also supported by SINTEF, through the Horizon Europe project THEMIS 5.0, and by the University of Oslo, through its research group AI Democracy.
